Ecology
The management of "Neobus" AD is extremely dedicated to the preservation of both working and living environment. For this purpose the "environment friendly" technology is used in our production. Environmental awareness is part of our business philosophy. Efforts in this area go in three directions. Firstly, we try to use biodegradable components and raw materials as much as possible.These do not pollute the environment and can be recycled, which is ecologically as well as economically justified. We constantly raise the level of consciousness with our workers in the sense of necessity to strictly obey all pro-environmental rules and procedures.
Waste materials, by-products of the production process, are stored in locations specifically planned for this purpose and go through the post treatment according to laws and regulations. Waste materials from the paint shop go through the cleaning process, and wood and metal waste is collected by specialized companies which maintain long and prosperous cooperation with "Neobus".
Second group of activities refers to the greenery around the factory and decoration and renovation of the company building and workshop. Significant amount of land in the area surrounding the factory, which covers approximately 110.000 m2, has been planted with various trees and plants, so as to create a healthy and comfortable working environment. To ensure a successful outcome of this project, horticulture engineers were included to design and plant the garden by the factory’s main entrance as well as the tree line along the main path. Also, a group of deciduous trees has been planted near the bus stop just outside the factory grounds.
Third group of efforts in reducing pollution involves building "environment friendly" components into our buses. These are special devices for exhaust fumes treatment, which provide a minimal level of damaging gases emission. This is a strategic stance of both "Neobus" and our partner "Volvo". Mutual activities in this area represent an important part of a lasting business cooperation.
